North London Adoption Consortium job vacancies.The North London Adoption Consortium is a pioneering and progressive partnership of five London boroughs and two independent agencies with affiliations to several other key adoption organisations. Our joint approach enables us to offer a comprehensive range of training opportunities, specialist staff training and joint publicity initiatives. A friendly, open and supportive network which allows us to be at the forefront of our field and so creating more choice for all those whose lives are affected by adoption. ISLINGTON ADOPTION & PERMANENCE PANELADOPTER MEMBER NEEDED Islington is a vibrant and diverse London borough and as part of our commitment to children, we require an individual to complete our Adoption and Permanence Panel. We are seeking an experienced adopter who has had a child or children placed with them and has been through the approval and matching process with another agency. We meet fortnightly on Tuesdays at Islington Town Hall and will pay £125 per panel (this includes reading time) plus travel expenses. Ideally we are looking for male applicants, as statutory guidance indicates that panels should be balanced as far as possible and we are currently under represented in relation to gender.
