NLCA joined forces with leading children's charity Barnardo's and a host of
well known faces for a special exhibition to help find permanent homes
for children awaiting adoption.
Well known figures such as Mario Testino, Bruce Oldfield, Terry O'Neil, Andrew Lincoln,
Gail Porter, Sam Taylor-Wood, Laura Bailey and Claudia Winkleman, all offered to become
guest photographers for the day to get a snapshot of their lives.
Cllr John Bryant, Camden Council's Executive Member for Children, said: "This was a great experience for
the children who really enjoyed meeting the celebrities and being photographed. Often these children
have had a difficult start in life and would benefit enormously from the stability of growing up
in a loving family setting."
The exhibition ran at the Getty Images Gallery from April 25 until May 3 2008.
